Tomorrow is College Signing Day – a chance to celebrate students for making a commitment to higher education. Facing History and Ourselves is proud to support this exciting day for students all across the country as part of First Lady Michelle Obama’s Reach Higher Initiative. This movement is a way for educators, counselors, and parents to encourage those heading to college, and for students to inspire and encourage others, too.
Do you know someone heading off to college this fall? Download the toolkit and make sure you celebrate College Signing Day with them with these easy and fun activities:
- Take the College Signing Day pledge at reachhigher.gov
- Have students post their own signing selfies on Twitter and Instagram wearing t-shirts from the college they plan to attend with the hashtags #CollegeSigningDay and #ReachHigher
- Have students spread the word through email and social media
